Ed Sheeran:Final Release of Tickets to Auckland Show

Ed Sheeran:Final Release of Seated & Standing Tickets to Auckland Show
+ Countdown Begins to Aus/NZ Tour

Ed Sheeran's X World Tour comes to a close in New Zealand on Saturday 12 December. The singer has said that this will be his last concert for some time while he takes a well-deserved holiday after what has been a hectic, exciting and magical past few years.

Frontier Touring have just released the final tickets remaining to Ed's massive Mt Smart Stadium show in both general admission and reserved seated categories, priced from just $79 (+ fees). With anticipation for this tour at fever pitch, these tickets will not last long!

Kicking off on November 28 in Brisbane and playing Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Auckland throughout December, the tour will see Sheeran playing his biggest venues to date; becoming the first ever musician to perform an Australian and New Zealand stadium tour entirely solo. Every single sound on stage will be produced by his voice, guitar and a series of loop pedals, filling the stadiums with hypnotising layers of sound.

This will be Sheeran’s second tour of our countries this year and fifth visit in four years. His sold-out March/April tour saw him perform in front of close to 190,000 fans across Australia and New Zealand to rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

In September Ed released a very special concert film, Ed Sheeran - Jumpers for Goalposts. The film brings together Ed’s captivating performances from the biggest shows of his career at Wembley Stadium this July, where he wows the 80,000 strong crowd with his biggest hits to date, including ‘The A Team’, ‘Sing’ and ‘Thinking Out Loud’ - and there’s even a surprise duet from Sir Elton John.

As well as his breath-taking onstage performance, Jumpers for Goalposts is intercut with the story of Ed’s triumphant road to Wembley, presenting a revealing and personal glimpse into life backstage and on the road, along with an honest and intimate reflection by Ed – and those closest to him – on just how far he has come.

Performing ahead of Ed Sheeran at Mt Smart Stadium will be Rudimental, Passenger and Foy Vance.

Rudimental's single 'Lay It All On Me' (ft. Ed Sheeran) has spent 5 weeks dominating the NZ Top 10 single and iTunes charts. Current album We The Generation is a number one selling album here and tracks from it are being remixed by fresh talent such as Taurus Riley, Eats Everything, Calyx and TeeBee, Lord Leopard and Star One. Rudimental were last in New Zealand last year, playing Auckland's Vector Arena with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Mike Rosenberg, better known as Passenger has been a close friend and frequent collaborator of Ed Sheeran and has also been a regular visitor to New Zealand. He has a strong and loyal fanbase here and his huge single 'Let Her Go' is still a favourite heard across NZ radio.

Foy Vance, another close friend of Ed's, will kick off the evening’s proceedings with his special blend of songwriting influenced by soul, blues and jazz.

This is the last chance to snap up tickets to Ed Sheeran's final concert for 2015 in what will be the ultimate celebration for a musician that we have all come to love and adore. Get yours today!
