Sunday Sessions at 46 & York

Now that the weather’s on the up, local favourite, 46 & York is turning up the heat and providing your regular Sunday afternoon insight into the inspirations and influences of the record collections of some of Auckland’s finest DJs and musicians.

Hosted by Murry Sweetpants, you can expect to see and hear some of the best music you’ve ever heard alongside a few old favourites of your own, every Sunday afternoon from 3-7pm.

Co-owner, Dana Johnston, says, “Sunday Sessions have the ablilty to make us embrace, rather than dread the start of a new week and this year, we wanted to enhance people’sSunday experience with some good ol’fashioned Parnell hospitality and great tunes.”

Over the past 46 & York played host to the likes of Peter Urlich, Nathan Haines, P Digsss from Shapeshifter, Dai Henwood, Sola Rosa, Cam Robertson (Sydney) and more. Over the upcoming summer 46 & York have a great selection of local and international guests, all ready and willing to share the music that has helped shape them into the artists they are.
