The FIFA organised international club football tournament is between the champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations, as well as the national league champion from the host country.
New Zealand's own Auckland City FC will take to the pitch representing Oceania, with TP Mazembe representing Africa, Guangzhou Evergrande FC representing Asia, FC Barcelona representing Europe, Club America of Mexico representing North, Central America and Caribbean, and Argentina's River Plate represents South America.
A total of eight games will be played to decide the winner of the FIFA Club World Cup 2015, kicking off at 11.30pm NZT on Thursday 10 December with Auckland City FC vs the Host team at International Stadium Yokohama.
