First Bachelorette Announced with More Fm Wildcard Winner

More FM is pleased to announce Nelson-born Anna Marshall as their bachelorette Wildcard winner for season two of The Bachelor New Zealand.

This makes Anna the first bachelorette to be announced for the 2016 season.

The More FM Wildcard proudly brought to you by Michael Hill, ensured that Anna was put through her paces by More FM’s Lana and Jase in an intensive week-long boot camp along with four other hopefuls.

The competition comprised of an obstacle course that included naming All Blacks, showing cooking and DIY skills, and literally sliding over the finish line.

The contestants were able to promote themselves on social media with More FM listeners voting for their favourite bachelorette.

Last year saw More FM Wildcard winner Lisa O’Loughlin become a favourite with the bachelorettes, with the tears flowing when she departed the bachelorette mansion.

Anna (29) will join the other bachelorettes vying for the attention of the 2016 Bachelor. After watching the inaugural season, Anna is excited about the opportunity to potentially find true love.

“I've lived my selfish years and absolutely owned them!” says Anna, “Now I'm ready for the next chapters of my ‘life book’ and I feel this is the perfect place to start ... Chapter 29 – will she receive a rose?”

Every More FM listener who voted for their favourite went into the draw to win $5000 in-store credit at Michael Hill and Emma from Otago has taken home the enviable prize.

Season two of The Bachelor New Zealand is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production New Zealand and will screen on TV3 in 2016.
