Under 5 Fest - opens Tues week
The annual Under 5 Fest is almost upon us! Held at the Table Tennis Canterbury Stadium, visitor numbers have consistently increased each year, to a record attendance of over 5,000 at the 2015 event!
After the huge success of our Big Science Day in October (over 20,000 people attended the one day event), we’re expecting the Under 5 Fest to continue it’s yearly growth and excitement.
Children and their adults explore a wide range of hands-on science-based activities, you can pat farm animals; build in the construction zone; learn basic scientific principles; listen to stories, play with puppets, and much more! There will also be new fun exhibits and activities.
The Under 5 Fest encourages young children to ask questions about the world around them and to discuss and explore the science in their everyday lives. The event is another of Science Alive’s innovative science and technology programmes.
