Creeping Charlie Presents Cori Gonzalez-Macuer

Creeping Charlie Presents Cori Gonzalez-Macuer

Since becoming a father, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer is truly happy for the first time ever, but that doesn't mean he’s stopped disliking a lot of stuff. From NZ ‘Socialites’, to people who post inspirational quotes, to DJ's, there's a lot of annoying people on this earth. Join him as he dissects the people he desperately hopes his daughter doesn't turn into.

"I posted an inspirational quote as a joke on Facebook today and people think I am serious. This is hands down the worst day of my life" – Cori GM, Facebook

Cori became kinda famous last year for his role in What We Do In The Shadows and he walked the red carpet at the films premiere at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival. Since then he’s been performing his reluctant style of stand-up comedy in America and all over NZ.

Chilean born New Zealander, Cori has been doing stand-up for over a decade and has been on7 Days, Pulp Comedy, AotearoHa and was a regular in cult hit A Night At The Classic... plus back in the day was also a finalist in the Cleo Young Bachelor of the Year.

This festival, audiences will go on a journey with Cori that puts Reality TV, Auckland Girls and the Bro Culture under the hammer. “I’m gonna talk about my reality TV show idea where you put every NZ reality TV star on an isolated island, set the cameras up around the place, leave them to it. Then a week later a message in a bottle will wash up ashore and it'll read, "the cameras aren't even on. No one knows you're here. LOL" – says Macuer.
