for NZ’s freshest undiscovered comic talent
The 2016 NZ International Comedy Festival and Flick Electric Co. have joined forces withFrickin Dangerous Bro, to find the freshest funniest person in New Zealand through theFresh as Flick competition.
To celebrate the upcoming NZ International Comedy Festival, the search is on to find new comedic talent who are Fresh as Flick. Any funny flicker can enter by filming a 60-90 second video to be judged by a panel including awesome comedy trio Frickin Dangerous Bro - Jamaine Ross, James Roque and Pax Assadi.
NZ International Comedy Festival Associate Director Lauren Whitney says, “Kiwis have humour in their roots and we are so lucky to have such a great range of comedy voices in our country. We'd love to find people who's friends already know they're funny but they haven’t been seen on a comedy stage before…this could be their chance to get their big break!”
The winner who is crowned Fresh As Flick will win an epic comedy prize pack including a double pass to TV3's 7 Days (on April 20), Jono & Ben -Live Recording (on April 21), the Flick Electric Co. Comedy Gala (on April 22) and a couple of other Comedy Festival shows that weekend. And at the Comedy Gala - you’ll be swag with a backstage tour - plus your ticket to the after party! Return flights to Auckland, 4 nights accommodation at Scenic Hotel, dinner at The Federal Delicatessen and some one-on-one time with Frickin Dangerous Bro will round out the mix.

Video entries are to be sent to FreshAs@flickelectric.co.nz along with the entrant’s Facebook name and phone number. Entries close Midday on 11 April 2016.
