The Bachelor New Zealand Continues Success

After winning its launch week, TV3’s The Bachelor New Zealand has continued its success, outperforming Our First Home in key demographics on Tuesday evening.

The fourth episode of The Bachelor New Zealand beat its timeslot competition on TV One in 18-39, 18-49 and 25-54 demographics, achieving a 6.4 rating and a 23.8 share in the key 25-54 demographic.

This was followed by SVU winning its 9.30pm slot later in the evening, winning in 18-49 and 25-54.

Documentary series Lost & Found won its 8.30pm timeslot on Thursday in all four key demographics* - sharing the story of a Napier woman returning to Russia in search of the parents who placed her in an orphanage 20 years ago - securing a phenomenal 9.1 rating and 29.2 per cent share in 25-54.

TV3’s Friday night line-up also performed well, with 7 Days and Fail Army winning their timeslots across 25-54, 18-39 and 18-49 demographics.

MediaWorks radio brand The Breeze also made a major announcement with the reinstatement of a local breakfast show in Auckland, Breeze Breakfast with Robert Rakete and Jeanette Thomas starting April 11. Markets that previously took the Auckland show will be supplied by the award-winning Steve Joll and Kath Bier, whose show is broadcast from Wellington. Alison Leonard will also broadcast a local day show from 10am-3pm.
