MyCarYourRental.com to Sponsor an Old Banger for Team Crazy Kiwi

MARCH 24, 2016 - MyCarYourRental.com has announced that they will be sponsoring an old banger for Team CrazyKiwi, and they will be participating in the upcoming Bangers to Bluff Rally.

The Bangers to Bluff Rally is a yearly charity event organised by the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay. A maximum of 20 vehicles are allowed to enter, and participants travel across a prescribed route using roads less traversed from Auckland to Bluff through the Caitlands. Team CrazyKiwi will be using an older Fiat that is designed for transport, not necessarily comfort, for the rally, and their goal is to collect as many funds as possible for the Hopeworks Foundation.

The Hopeworks Foundation offers a hub where patients and medical professionals alike can learn more about neurological disorders and brain injuries.

Proceeds from all new signups at MyCarYourRental.com during the 11-day road trip will benefits the Hopeworks Foundation. MyCarYourRental.com is also raising money for the charity by selling seats for the road trip. “We’re selling each part of the trip to the highest bidder, so get on and make us an offer - and buy yourself transportation in the oldest, most uncomfortable seat that you ever travelled - remember, our old Fiat is built for transport, not comfort! It will be fun and you’ll meet Kiwis that you wouldn’t meet anywhere else,” said the MyCarYourRental.com team.

MyCarYourRental.com is also raising money for the Hopeworks Foundation by seeking sponsorships for the upcoming rally. Currently, the company is looking for 5 sponsors donating a minimum of $300 to be represented during the entire 11-day journey and promoted via press releases, Facebook posts, Instagram, and more.

The road trip will be taking place from March 30, 2016, until April 11, 2016, and MyCarYourRental.com aims to bring aboard 100 new users during this period. The newly launched platform is a peer-to-peer vehicle rental company that lets people rent out their vehicles while offering a solution to New Zealand’s commuter issues. People can easily go to the website, peruse the available selection of rentals, and book a vehicle.

The platform’s owner, Henrik Stovring, is also known as The Mad Dane, and he will be the driver of Team CrazyKiwi. The video here shows the making of the team’s car:
