‘Never Be Like You’ is the first track unveiled from Flume’s highly anticipated forthcoming album, SKIN, coming later this year on Future Classic. The original has been streamed just under 52 million times globally since release after reaching #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart and #1 on Hype Machine, as well as climbing up the Top 100 Shazam charts (currently sitting at #42 on global Shazam chart).

‘Never Be Like You’ is becoming a genuine global hit. In America, was the #5 most added song to top 40 radio last week and is #1 on the US iTunes electronic chart.

In the UK, ‘Never Be Like You’ has been on the Radio1 playlist for seven weeks, including the past three weeks on the B-list. It is a smash in Australia where it is a #1 double Platinum single, while here in New Zealand it is a #2 Platinum single!

Consequence of Sound calls the song “a slow building romance” while Spin says “the new R&B look is a good one for Flume.”
