“After having the privilege of writing and performing our music to an amazing audience for the last 12 years, we have decided to retire as a band and will be performing our final ever show this May. Our experiences during this time together have far exceeded our expectations, and we feel that time has come for the band to acknowledge its natural conclusion, giving us the opportunity to focus on our individual lives and ambitions. We would like to extend much thanks and gratitude to all those that have supported and shared this journey with us, and are excited about celebrating with one final performance.” – Tahuna Breaks

Tahuna Breaks will perform two sets on the night including a more intimate acoustic set at the beginning of the show to accommodate their back catalogue, followed by the full ten piece band and guests.

For over 12 years Tahuna Breaks have honed their sound to include elements of funk, disco, soul, live electronica and roots. With live configurations of between six and 10 members, the groups live act is energetic and raw; influenced by a breath of artists ranging from James Brown to Daft Punk. By their own definition they are there to 'put ants in ya pants' and party.
