NZME Launch New Nelson Radio Station – Mix104

1 June 2016 – New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) announced today a new radio station Mix104 is coming to Nelson on Tuesday 7 June.

The station will play a continuous blend of the very best music from the 80's and 90's. On Mix104 you’ll hear superstars like Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, Crowded House, INXS, U2 and Robbie Williams alongside gems from the 80’s and 90’s that you won’t have heard on the radio for a very long time.

Mix Breakfast will be hosted by radio and TV personality Mel Homer, who is excited about engaging with Nelson listeners. ‘I think Nelson will love the throwback tunes on Mix104, but what I’m really looking forward to is introducing my wonderful guests to everyone,’ says Homer. ‘I talk about everything from technology and food through to what’s new in beauty and entertainment, and I can’t wait to see what secret tidbits the Nelson listeners have up their sleeves!”

Mix104 can be heard on 104FM from Tuesday 7 June.
