Timely te Reo Challenge

Timely te Reo Challenge

Emerging New Zealand tech company Timely has been working on their te Reo this week for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori.

Rueben Skipper, Partner Manager, challenged the team to greet each other in te Reo each morning. Skipper challenged other businesses to do the same and posted a ‘how-to’ video on the Timely YouTube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=W9KcOFlve04

By Wednesday, the Timely team was in full swing using te Reo to communicate company-wide. This image from their Twitter account is a snapshot of their ‘watercooler’ channel in Slack, the communication tool the remote working team uses to check in with each other throughout the day. https://twitter.com/Timely/status/750507041668554752

Culture and collaboration is central to Timely’s values with a remote team of 28 employees working from Dunedin, Wellington, London and even Guatemala.

Timely is an appointment software company with customers in over 80 countries around the world servicing small and medium-sized businesses in the hair, beauty, health and wellbeing industries.

Timely recently became an Apple Mobility Partner along with Vend and Xero, and will soon release a new native iOS app for iPhone and iPad.
