Celebrating New Zealand’s burlesque talent, Grand Tease New Zealand 2016.
The dynamic duo who are Ruby Ruin & Bonita Danger Doll, two of New Zealand’s premier Burlesque performers from their hugely successful “Tease and Trouble Productions” are pleased to bring you the 2016 “Grand Tease New Zealand” burlesque competition.
Last year’s supreme winner was Wellington based vintage darling “Fanciforia Foxglove” and runner up was Hamilton diva “Ms Tittle Tattle”!
This year’s event will have three regional heats - Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch, with the final also held in Christchurch on September 3rd.
The winner could be ANYONE!
The Wellington heat at the Fringe Bar - home of the popular Menagerie Variety Show www.themenagerie.co.nz , features ten fabulous contestants: Amber de Luze, Blue Virtue, Constance Craving, Gwen Porcelain, Honey Suckle, Hugo Grrrl, Lady Sane, Madam Mutiny, Viola Nightshade & Voluptuous Twinkle
The Hamilton Heat at The Meteor Theatre features nine distinctly different performers from the Upper North Island: Amourous Ava, Azure D’Murre, Bethany Starr, Coney Bow, Coq au Vin, Dixiedoll, Miss Bettsy Rose Lee, Pussy Galorrez and R’Belle Rose
And the Christchurch Heat, held at Halo Venue will have ten performers from all over the South Island, featuring: Angelah Rose, Aurora Storm, Cheviace Stylet, Feather Unsure, Miss Indigo Skye, Miss Mimesis, Miss Phoebe Lee, Nilah Minx, Sera Tonin and Shortie Georgia
