NZME launch Coast Radio Station into Russell

25 July 2016 – New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) announced today one of New Zealand’s favourite easy listening stations, Coast, is now in Russell on 89.6FM. Coast plays the top superstar acts including Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Billy Joel, The Eagles, Elton John, Queen and David Bowie. The station boasts a diverse and entertaining line up of presenters throughout the day.

Tune in to Breakfast with Brian Kelly, Days with Lorna Subritzky, Drive with Murray Lindsay and Nights with Rick Morin, for the best music, interviews with intriguing guests and news and entertainment updates.

NZME Group Director – Entertainment, Dean Buchanan says the team is thrilled to launch Coast in Russell.

“Coast plays the music people love to sing along to. It’s the perfect companion for any time of the day, whether you’re driving to work, pottering around the house or going for a walk. We hope the people of Russell will love this new station.”

Coast is currently giving listeners the chance to win a trip of a lifetime to see music icon Barbra Streisand live in New York City. The winner will be announced on August 4, giving Russell listeners plenty of time to enter the draw.

Coast can be heard right now on 89.6FM.
