Comedy Central Announces Rob Lowe as Next Roastee

CHECK IT OUT HERE!

Comedy Central announces Rob Lowe as this year’s roastee for the annual star-studded event in which a special roastee is hand-picked to sit in the hot seat and take it on the chin for the evening.

The Roast of Rob Lowe will premiere on Wednesday 7th September at 8.30pm, only on Comedy Central – SKY channel 011.

Rob Lowe commented on the event: “What a thrill to once again be following in Justin Bieber’s footsteps. I look forward to a night of hilarious jokes recycled from the James Franco Roast. I would like to express my gratitude to the members of my family who have passed away and therefore will not have to endure what promises to be a very special evening.”

Actor David Spade has been named the roast master for the evening, joining an all-star roster of roasters which includes some of today’s hottest comedic talent, a perfect 10 beauty and one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
Confirmed roasters include: Jimmy Carr, Pete Davidson, Bo Derek, Peyton Manning, Rob Riggle and Jeff Ross, with additional roasters to be announced.

“Comedy Central asked a bunch of ugly guys to make fun of a good looking guy. I said yes right away. Then I realized I wasn’t the good looking guy,” said Spade.

The Roast of Rob Lowe will premiere on Wednesday 7th September at 8.30pm, only on Comedy Central - SKY channel 011.
