Fantastic Auction Prizes on Offer at Gala Night
Fantastic Auction Prizes on Offer at Spinal Injuries
Gala Night
Organisations from around Fiji have rallied
round to support disability organisation, the Spinal Injury
Association for their upcoming Gala Fundraiser on October
11th, which features NZ Rugby legend Eric Rush as
speaker.
The event – at the Grand Pacific Hotel - is being held to raise vital funds for the NGO, which provides wheelchairs and mobility devices for free to disabled people throughout Fiji, including villages still suffering from TCV Winston.
As well as selling tables to attend this prestigious event – also hosted by former President Sir Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, as well as Eric Rush, with entertainment organised by Igelese Ete - there are spectacular auction prizes up for grabs.
Generous organisations have donated prizes worth thousands of dollars - including genuine New Zealand memorabilia such as a shirt signed by Richie McCaw (valued at over $4000FJD) and a rugby ball signed by Kieran Read.
There is also an extravagant 5-night holiday on offer with a stay at the Return to Paradise - one of Samoa's finest luxurious resorts, enclosed with beautiful natural surroundings and five star facilities, again worth over $4000FJD.
For the more adventurous there are some fantastic experience vouchers on offer, including two vouchers worth $400 each from Rivers Fiji and a PADI Diving course on offer, worth $695 from Suva Scuba.
Lots more prizes are on offer – and tables are still available for those who just want to enjoy the evening. Full details of all auction items and table bookings can be found on the SIA website here: http://spinalinjuryfiji.weebly.com/sia-gala-event.html
SIA Executive Director, Joshko Wakaniyasi said of the event: “We do what we can to assist as many as we can with very limited resources. We are proud that we have helped thousands of disabled Fijians with the generous support of sponsors including Vodafone Fiji ATH, PhysioNet UK and DFAT – as well as our auction donors of course.
“But if we are to meet demand and continue to provide aid to Fijians in need, we desperately need Fijian businesses and organisations to come along to our Gala Night and auction and support us - whilst hopefully grabbing an amazing prize in the process.”
