RLWC2017 ANNOUNCE NZME AS OFFICIAL MEDIA PARTNER

Rugby League World Cup 2017 (RLWC2017) is delighted to announce New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) as the tournament’s Official Media Partner in New Zealand.

As Official Media Partner, NZME will assist in the promotion of rugby league’s pinnacle international tournament across their portfolio of media networks – delivering RLWC2017 a prominent digital, print and radio presence.

NZME’s Head of Sport Trevor McKewen is thrilled NZME is the Official Media Partner for the tournament: “Rugby League is a favourite of sports fans in New Zealand and Kiwis are passionate about the sport. We are excited to be partnering with Rugby League World Cup 2017 to bring the event to fans up and down the country.”

The RLWC2017 will be contested from 27 October to 2 December 2017 and hosted by New Zealand and Australia, with three pool games also being played in Papua New Guinea. The tournament will be the biggest event in Oceania during 2017, with an estimated 450,000 fans to attend the Rugby League World Cup, which would be a tournament record.
