Entertaining and educating Waitaki for 5 spectacular years.
The Bedford School of Music Entertainment is celebrating 5 years in the Waitaki region in 2017. Started by Miriam & Jae Bedford out of their home with just a handful of students and performing around the region and far further a field to support the dream they shared. Their vision was that as an entertainment company they need to craft entertainers & shows for the ever changing industry. The school provides classes and workshops in Guitar, Voice, Bass, Drums, Piano, Ukulele, Piano, or recently added Dance & Drama programes have been a huge success. In 2017 TBSOM has spread as far as Palmerston and out as far as Omarama. They are under great demand to bring their brand of education & entertainment to music festival, weddings and other events locally and in Dunedin, Waimate, Tekapo, Timaru & Geraldine. In its 5 years they have produced 3 digital album releases, several educational resources and other books, entertained at hundreds of events & taught thousands of classes.
Miriam and Jae love what they do and really enjoy the family enviroment surrounding the school. They enjoy the relationships formed with parents and the youth of Oamaru. It provides education to all ages through traveling educators as well as their own unique skill set.
