Tickets on sale Friday 17th at 8am

Tickets will go on general release tomorrow, Friday 17th, at 8am. As usual we do expect this to be very busy, so please be patient.

The quickest and easiest way to book tickets is online via our website or the Wanaka App – or click on this link https://nz.patronbase.com/_FestivalOfColour/Productions. There are no booking fees just a 3% credit card processing fee. You can register ahead of time to save yourself time. Please take a moment to watch this short video that explains how the online ticketing system works. There is a queue system so you can see very clearly where you sit in the queue and it does move quickly.

Alternatively, you can call 022 4 TIX NOW (022 4 849 669) and one of our friendly operators can take your booking over the phone. To save time it helps if you have written down your order first and have your credit card to hand.

Or you can go to the Lake Wanaka Centre Box office – it will be open 8am to 6pm Friday17th and Saturday 18th. Do note that there will be extra traffic in town due to Challenge Wanaka, and some road closures, so do allow time to find parking and get to the Centre.

Please do remember that many of our venues are small, often only about 100 seats, and so we do have limited capacity. But, where we can, we have programmed multiple performances of shows that we think will be popular.

Some people have registered concerns that some shows have sold out during priority sales. This is not the case. We keep 30% of the seats for each venue for public sales, so when the message says ‘Sold Out’ it means that we have sold out of priority sales and there are still public sales available – so it means that our Patrons and Benefactors can’t buy any further tickets to that performance until the general sales open. However as some of our venues are small – only 80 or 90 seats, it doesn’t take long for things to sell out quickly!

We will put on additional shows where we can and already have put on an additional show of Jamie Bowen – ‘Heart goes Boom/Head Goes Bang’ on Friday 7 April at 8.30pmand Annabel Wilson’s play ‘No Science to Goodbye’ on Sunday 9 April at 5pm.

Please refer to our FAQ’s for any other concerns you may have about Ticketing and please feel free to call General Manager Lindsey Schofield on 443 4172 if you have any concerns on our ticketing arrangements.
