Paakiwaha is an exciting weekly current affairs programme from a Maori perspective.

Paakiwaha is hosted today for the final time by Willie Jackson and broadcast by Radio Waatea with funding from New Zealand on Air.

Today Willie speaks with Selwyn Parata the chair of Te Matatini, Political commentator Chris Trotter. Chester Borrows who chaired the Maori Select Committee into the NPDC (Waitara Land) Bill that was held at Owae Marae last week.

Ngati Kahungunu chair Ngahiwi Tomoana talks about the iwi hosting this years Te Matatini Festival andAnzac Wallace one of our Maori acting greats talks about the NZ Film Awards that were held over the weekend.

Our regular sports commentator Ken Laban provides his sports roundup for the week.
