Pilsner Urquell serves up biggest collaboration to date

MEAT AUCKLAND’S HOTTEST ONE-OFF COLLABORATIVE MENU

Pilsner Urquell serves up biggest collaboration to date

Come along to Cazador early next month, where Auckland’s most renowned game meat specialist and the world’s original pilsner will unite to tempt foodies with a unique ‘Keepers of the Craft Sunday Supper Club’ – a frothy spin on the traditional Sunday roast.

Hosted by Czech beer, Pilsner Urquell, the one-off, three-course collaborative lunch on April 2 will incorporate a unique collection of beer-infused products, made by some of our country’s top artisans, and the menu expertly curated by Cazador’s master of meat, Dariush Lolaiy.

Uncompromising on its authentic craftsmanship, the special beer brand has formed close relationships with some of New Zealand’s most interesting craftspeople who gather regularly. This tight-knit group is called the ‘Keepers of the Craft.’ For one day only, Aucklanders can discover this group’s collaborative talent and passion for craftsmanship.

In true Cazador style and much to gourmands’ delight, one of the original ‘Keepers of the Craft’ members Lolaiy will also showcase his speciality of wild food cookery by roasting a succulent pig on the spit in the Cazador courtyard, washed down with a golden, crisp pilsner.

And to indulge beer lovers beyond the rim of a beer glass, award-winning products from family owned and operated businesses Westmere Butchery & Wild Wheat Bakery will put a spin on Czech Saaz hops – an imperial hop variety that is a key element in the beer’s unique flavour profile.
