- The Stars are coming off a 57-75 loss to the Steel in their opening match of the ANZ Premiership.

- The Magic claimed a first up 71-48 win over the Tactix in their first ANZ Premiership match.

- The Magic recorded the second highest score on Super Sunday with their 71-goals against the Tactix.

- Both teams are backing up after playing their first ANZ Premiership matches on Super Sunday.

- Nine of the Stars’ 10 players took the court in their Round 1 match against the Steel. Only Christina Oscar didn’t take the court.

- Two Stars players made their debut at this level in Round 1; Afa Rusivakula and Kate Burley.

- Nine of the Magic’s 10 players took the court in their Round 1 match against the Tactix. Only Amorangi Malesala didn’t play in the Magic’s opening match.

- Five Magic players made their debut at this level; Lenize Potgieter, Monica Falkner, Grace Kukutai, Alex MacLeod-Smith and Ariana Cable-Dixon.

- Magic shooter Lenize Potgieter was the most prolific shooter after the first three matches of the ANZ Premiership with 54 goals from 58 attempts at 93% accuracy.

- Magic captain Casey Kopua will play her 150th combined national league match against the Stars. Kopua played 36 matches for the Magic in the former NZ national league and 112 for the Magic in the Trans-Tasman Netball League. This will be Kopua’s second ANZ Premiership match.
