American rapper YG has announced that New Zealand’s very own SWIDT will be opening for him at his one-off show at the Logan Campbell Centre in Auckland on June 14.

Hailing from Compton, California, YG has earned his reputation as a compelling story-teller, with a killer live performance since bursting onto the hip-hop scene in the late 2000s with his smash hit ‘Toot It and Boot It’ feat. Ty Dolla Sign. His critically-acclaimed 2016 album STILL BRAZY featured some of the biggest names in the game, from Lil Wayne to Drake.

Meanwhile, hailing from Onehunga, Auckland, SWIDT (See What I Did There?) have been whipping up a frenzy on dancefloors across New Zealand since their debut in 2016 single and video ‘No More Parties in Stoneyhunga’.
