Team Pin-Ups take on Team Punks for derby supremacy

Team Pin-Ups take on Team Punks in a battle for derby supremacy.

Come along and join us for some rocking and rolling action on Friday 21st July at Cowles Stadium.

This "friendly" exhibition bout will pitch All Stars, Living Dead Rollers and recent graduates blocking and jamming against each other.

This will be one of the few opportunities to see Dead End Derby Christchurch Rollergirls play at home this year. Exhibition bouts are great fun as team-mates are placed in opposing teams as A and B teams play alongside each other. However, don't be mistaken into thinking that these exhibition bouts are any less competitive - each team will be going all out to win.

We want people to show their support for their team by wearing punks or pin-ups outfits whilst watching one side smash their way to victory!

We are also proud to present a demonstration by our junior roller derby crew who have been working hard to develop their skating skills. Junior roller derby is open to girls aged 8+. Participants learn skating skills in a fun, team environment, with a view to playing their own (non-contact) bouts in the future.

Don't miss the action packed, full-contact, all-female roller derby battle between two awesome teams.
