With their triple j feature album QUIET FEROCITY out now, The Jungle Giants are looking forward to their first new Zealand show when they perform at REC, Auckland on September 15.

Racking up over 35 million Spotify streams, The Jungle Giants are the poster people for creative risks in the studio. Recorded at Empire Studios in Brisbane, QUIET FEROCITY was a result of frontman Sam Hales' “5 days a week, 9-5” approach to the creation of album number three. Recorded and produced entirely themselves, the 10-track album features new single ‘On Your Way Down’ and ‘Feel The Way I Do’, which combined have accumulated over 3 million streams and numerous appearances on triple j’s most played tracks list. The album debuted at #11 on the ARIA chart as well as #2 on the Australian Album chart.

Recently whipping crowds into a frenzy on Australia’s favourite regional touring festivalGroovin The Moo, The Jungle Giants have played shows in LA, New York, Toronto, Austin, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta. With sold-out headline dates and appearances at all major Australian festivals, audiences can expect performances filled with charging dance hooks and contagious scream-your-lungs-out choruses. Their new album marks a key stylistic and musical evolution for the band, creating a genre-bending universe that’s entirely their own. QUIET FEROCITY is infectious. So get ready - it’s coming for you too.

Supporting The Jungle Giants in Auckland is Kiwi indie-pop band, Young Lyre. A hard-working five-piece, Young Lyre have built a reputation for their exciting live performance and are looking forward to playing their hit singles ‘Winter’, ‘Night Swimming’ and more at REC this September.
