It’s time to get the taste buds a' tingling and the collars a’ loosening as Cassette Nine and Va-Va-Voom Productions present their latest delectable treat for the senses: Shimmy Shake ‘n Bake!

A gastronomic delight, this food and drink themed burlesque show will see some of New Zealand’s best burlesque entertainers perform routines inspired by and featuring various edible and drinkable goodies. Wrap your laughing gear around that!

Our venue for the evening is the wonderfully charming and intimate Cassette Nine, which will fill you with special cocktails, meals and other delectable refreshments.

Our scrumptious burlesquers are:

Duchess deBerry (HEADLINER) - The Antipodean Temptress.

Clever Hansel (WELLINGTON) - A Gentleman and a Cad.

Billie Bomb - The T n’ Teaser.

Vola Tile - Sultry, Sassy, Stormy (and sometimes Satirical) Burlesquer.

Patty Haag - Auckland’s Most Beautifully Ugly Drag Queen.

Lilly Loca - Putting the Va Va VOOM into Vaudeville.

Kita Mean (MC) - The Cheesecake Queen of Drag, Dahling!

VIP ticket holders will be treated to mouth watering Cassette Nine food and beverages with table/booth service, as well as the best seats in the house. Plus, they’ll receive an exclusive VIP goody bag thanks to our sponsors. GA’s and VIP’s also get to see the stunning Duchess deBerry perform a couple of tunes with a pinch of sugar and spice pre-show. She’s very comestible, we assure you.
