Table toppers to meet in BK Super Smash

Table toppers to meet in BK Super Smash

The Auckland Aces have welcomed back both Colin de Grandhomme and Glenn Phillips as they prepare to take on the Knights in tomorrow's Burger King Super Smash fixture at Eden Park Outer Oval.

Phillips returns from international duty while de Grandhomme is back available for selection after bereavement leave.

The match doubles as a top of the table clash with the Knights sitting on top with 22 points while the Aces are alone in second spot on 20 points.

Aces Coach Mark O'Donnell:

"We're back home after a successful trip away but this isn't a time to sit back. We have put ourselves in a good position on the table and it's time to capitalise on this in the next few matches at home."

"The Knights are a quality outfit and have dangerous players throughout their side. We will look to play to our own strengths and it is great to be able to welcome back two players [Phillips and de Grandhomme] with explosive power and game-changing abilities."
