Sells out first Auckland concert, second show announced

Monday, May 21- Hot on the heels of the release of her sophomore album Tell Me How You Really Feel, Courtney Barnett announces a second all ages concert at Auckland’s Powerstation on Tuesday August 28.

The first Powerstation show sold-out even before Barnett’s critically acclaimed new record dropped on Friday and with a tradition of her shows in New Zealand being full houses, it’s expected that this second show will sell like hotcakes when tickets are released at 2pmtoday via Ticketmaster.

From the housing crisis of 'Depreston' to the hell of internet trolls in 'Nameless Faceless', the 30-year-old's everyday narratives have now weaved into collaboration with The Breeders, Kurt Vile and long-term partner Jen Cloher.

Tell Me How You Really Feel will be released May 18th through Barnett’s own label Milk! Records followed by a string of worldwide tour dates, including all ages shows in Auckland and Wellington in August.
