Dark Nights, warm tales

media release / arts listing

Story & laughter – Spoken word done well – brings you

Dark Nights, warm tales, Sunday 24th June 4pm, The Scruffy Bunny Improv Theatre, the courtyard

Last Sunday of the month, The Scruffy Bunny Improv Theatre, The Courtyard, 100 Courtenay Place, 24th June, 4pm. Admission $10

Dark Nights, Warm Tales is this months theme. The nights are so short, even with a 4pm start you may not be home before dark. Warm your souls with stories from Wellington tellers at The Scruffy Bunny Improv Theatre Story & Laughter show, new tales and old to brighten your day. Our seasoned tellers this month include Nancy Fulford and Pauline Vullings and tellers from Kapiti coasts renowned In The Belly of the Whale School of Storytelling.

Nancy Catherine Fulford is a Caniwi – raised in Canada and now her home is Aotearoa. What a lucky combo! She is a writer-performer of many things. Most recently she has been working with creative non-fiction with the odd whopping falsehood (lie sounds excessive) thrown in for good measure. She will be performing Red Gloves, a trip to the edge and back again on repeat.
