Brahma Kumaris Presents "AWAKENING TO GREATNESS WITHIN" with SISTER SHIVANI for the first time ever in New Zealand

BK Sister Shivani is a living legend of the 21st century. She is an incredibly famous spiritual speaker who practices what she preaches in her life. Her simple soft spoken help to heal emotionally, mentally, intellectually and spiritually. In a period of just one or two hours, her miraculous words can touch hearts.

Sister Shivani holds an Electronics Engineering degree. After completing her degree she served as a lecturer for two years. She is now a member of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University and has been studying Raja Yoga meditation for the past twenty years.

She conducts motivational courses and presents practical spiritual understanding through open workshops, talks and TV programmes. Initially, she was working behind the scenes for the production of Brahma Kumaris television presentation in Delhi, where senior educators recorded lessons. In 2007, she was asked to answer questions from the viewers due to the unavailability of teachers. This then led to a television show ‘Awakening with Brahma Kumaris’. This is a famous show telecasted in India, USA, UK, Australasia and the Middle East. The focus of this show is self-transformation. Topics discussed by Sister Shivani incorporates Stress-Free Lifestyle, Emotional Intelligence, Harmony in Relationships, Living qualities, Depression and Addiction. She has travelled to more than twenty countries and carried out over 2,000 talks abroad and in India addressing these topics.

Programmes and classes directed by Sister Shivani have empowered numerous individuals from all around the globe to overcome mental stress, depression, low self-esteem and have also inspired them to make changes in their lives through her wisdom.

Sister Shivani's TV show ‘Happiness Unlimited’ has been adapted into a book. This book is incredibly inspirational and useful for managing daily issues such as lack of inspiration, mental illness, fatigue and stress. The book is based on the concept of ‘Happiness’ which can be misinterpreted by many. ‘Unlimited Happiness’ was qualified into the Amazon's Best-Reads List and claimed to be the No. 1 bestseller in Religious and Spiritual category in India.

She had also been invited by the Indian Medical Association from all major cities in India for her discussions with doctors in which she conducted sessions mostly addressed to cancer patients.

Her YouTube Channel has over 53 million viewers and her Facebook page contains 1.6 million followers. For her excellence in empowering Spiritual Consciousness, Sister Shivani was awarded the Women of the Decade Achievers Award by ASSOCHAM'S Ladies League in 2014, and in 2017 she was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador by the World Psychiatric Association.
