Openside announced as Panic! at the Disco support

Openside have been announced as the support act for Panic! at the Disco at Spark Arena on Tuesday 16th October 2018.

The Auckland NZ quartet has already featured this year in Alternative Press, Line of Best Fit and Billboard’s Pride playlist. Openside have built a following with their own all ages headline shows and opening slots for everyone from Twenty One Pilots and Fall Out Boy to Ellie Goulding.

They’re led by gender non binary vocalist Possum, armed with one of the most brilliant young voices in the country, and their songs are packaged into polished production from Josh Fountain at Auckland’s Golden Age studio (Lorde) and mixed by Ken Andrews (Paramore).

Award winning, internationally acclaimed colossal rockers PANIC! AT THE DISCO are returning to Auckland at Spark Arena in support of their sixth studio album, ‘Pray for the Wicked’ and their live show is not to be missed.

The extravaganza that is Panic! at the Disco was full of fancy lighting, massive gold confetti cannons and Brendon’s dancing – what more could you want?! ….The adrenaline pumping show included tunes from present and past albums and had the audience screaming, clapping and fist pumping along as the concert went into the night….Brendon’s vocals were just something else – he hit high notes with ease and witnessing his musical talents in an arena felt surreal!’ Tearaway
