Applications Now Open for Songhubs Auckland 2019

We're delighted to announce that applications are now open for Songhubs Auckland 2019.

This week long program will be held at Roundhead Studios in Auckland from March 4th to 9th, 2019.

SongHubs Auckland is a collaborative song-writing initiative presented by APRA AMCOS with the generous support of our friends at NZ On Air, the New Zealand Music Commission, Auckland Council and Recorded Music New Zealand.

In just three years we’ve brought 15 international guests to Auckland, connected more than 70 New Zealand and Australian writers and producers, and witnessed the creation of over 80 original songs. The impressive list of SongHubs releases includes 'Kind of Love' by Maala, 'Addict' by Louis Baker, 'All The Ways to Say Goodbye' by Mitch James, and 'Pitch Dark' by Chelsea Jade.

This year we’re thrilled to welcome Ilsey Juber, Justin Parker, Nate Campany and Maize Olinger to New Zealand.

Other notable credits include Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’, ‘All Night’ by Beyoncé, ‘Ocean’ by Martin Garrix feat. Khalid and ‘Powerful’ by Major Lazer feat. He co-wrote ‘This Time Around’ on Tove Lo’s platinum selling album ‘Queen of the Clouds’, 4 songs on Carly Rae Jepsen’s critically acclaimed album ‘Emotion’ and LP’s ‘Lost On You’ which was #1 in 27 countries. He also co-wrote Martin Garrix’s ‘Scared to be Lonely’ feat. Dua Lipa which went 3 times platinum in worldwide sales, and the #1 US Latin airplay Becky G x Natti Natasha song ‘Sin Pijama’.
