Ed Byrne fires up the millennials

Ed Byrne fires up the millennials at the 2019 NZ International Comedy Festival

ED BYRNE
Spoiler Alert

No international comedian has been more dedicated to the annual NZ International Comedy Festival than Irishman Ed Byrne, who returns in May for his 9th tour down-under with his new show SPOILER ALERT, a total sell out at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival.

He says; “I originally intended to call the show “I’ll Millennial You in a Minute”, but my promoter considered the title “off-puttingly baffling”. That’s my own chainsaw in the photo, by the way”. In the show, Ed explores the thin line between righteous complaining and brat-like whining and asks, ‘are we right to be fed up, or are we spoiled?’ Come and watch as Byrne takes this question, turns it upside down and shakes it until the funny falls out. Go on, spoil yourself.

Recognized as one of the finest observational comics in the industry, Ed’s television credits are countless (provided you’re really bad at counting); Mock The Week (BBC), Have I Got News For You (BBC) , The Graham Norton Show(BBC), Live At The Apollo (Host, BBC), The One Show (BBC), The World’s Most Dangerous Roads (BBC), Dara and Ed’s Road to Mandalay (BBC), The Pilgrimage (BBC), Top Gear (BBC), QI (BBC). TV3’s 7 Days and Hosting the NZ Comedy Fest Gala in 2014.
