Announce Special Guests Halestorm

AUCKLAND, NZ (Friday, February 22) – Hot on the heels of Tuesday’s announcement that JUDAS PRIEST will now headline at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, March 16, following the regrettable tour cancellation by Ozzy Osbourne, Live Nation is thrilled to confirm Pennsylvanian hard rock powerhouse HALESTORM will join Judas Priest as special guests.

All tickets to Judas Priest with special guests Halestorm are now $99.00. All tickets purchased for the original Ozzy Osbourne show remain valid for the Judas Priest headline show, without the need for exchange. Ozzy Osbourne ticket holders will receive an automatic partial refund.

There are few heavy metal bands that have managed to scale the heights that Judas Priest have during their 40-year career. Formed in the early '70s in Birmingham, England, Judas Priest went on to change the face of heavy metal. A 2010 Grammy Award win for 'Best Metal Performance, a 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination, the latest album 'Firepower' released in March 2018 has become the highestcharting album of their career plus scorching their way round the world in sell out shows on the Firepower tour has cemented the presence and influence of Judas Priest at an all-time high!

Post-grunge/metal quartet Halestorm have become one of the most successful female-fronted hard rock groups of the 21st century. With an aggressive yet hook-heavy sound that has become a fixture of American rock radio. Led by charismatic vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale, Halestorm have been touring relentlessly, performing hundreds of shows each year and sharing the stage with nearly all of the popular American hard rock acts of their era. In 2013, the band took out a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for their single ‘Love Bites (So Do I)’, which appeared on their sophomore studio album, “The Strange Case Of…”. Halestorm were also nominated for a Grammy Award this year for their recent single ‘Uncomfortable’ from their latest album ‘Vicious’.
