Celebrations begin for the Friends and Sponsors of the NZ Art Show

The NZ Art Show not only celebrates NZ art, but it also celebrates its loyal Friends and Sponsors, all of whom play a large part in the show’s success. They are at the heart of the organisation’s ability to operate and grow, and will receive the recognition they deserve.

To celebrate their involvement, the NZ Art Show is kicking off the 2019 show with the annual Friends and Sponsors evening to be held on Wednesday 10th April, at the Waterfront Room at the Harbourside Function Centre, Wellington. This catered event is an exclusive evening for the Friends and Sponsors of the show, providing the opportunity to network with others who love art, culture and being a part of New Zealand’s art community.

Guests will also enjoy an exhibition of artworks by 12 artists who are new to the NZ Art Show: Chad Bevan, Tanya Blong, Nicky Corbishley, Bella Foster, Hannah Fouhy, Anita Gate, Hannah Lawn, Clare McGuiness, Paula Petherick, RUNA + HOLLY, Gitte Short, and Weiyang Zhang.

Guest speakers will include Neil Paviour-Smith, Director of the NZ Art Show and Managing Director of Forsythe Barr.
