Alphabet Street - Funk for the whole family!

Alphabet Street - Funk for the whole family!

Baby Steps presents four Sunday sessions where families can listen, laugh, dance and craft together.

Are you sick and tired of wiggles earworms? Does Dora drive you crazy? Well we are parents too and we say enough is enough. Kids can enjoy good music, not just mega marketed big brands! As parents we want the best for our kids and our family, we spend hours researching health, education, nutrition etc, so why stop there, why not provide quality, authentic music too?

Baby Steps has the answer in this exciting series of shows, which proves kids and parents can listen to and enjoy the same music. Genius!

Each ticketed event will run for three hours, with music provided by one of four iconic Wellington live bands. During the events check out Craftcamp, the artist run popular school holiday programme where kids make cool and original craft. We will also provide dance instructors who will teach families some new moves to try out on the dance floor. And if that isn’t enough, each family can take away a free Amazing Travelling Photobooth family photo to remember your awesome family day with. The first one is a free taster at Capital E’s Great Scavenger Hunt Extravaganza, and will run for an hour and a half.

Let’s inspire the next generation of Wellington musicians, dancers and artists.

So there you have it, Alphabet Street, a family arts experience that will leave the whole family smiling. Dress fruity, craft sparkly and get down with some amazing & inspiring Wellington musicians, up close and personal.
