Full Steam Ahead For Wellington Fashion Week

With the new year upon us, the Wellington Fashion Week team is excited to announce the first collection of designer involvement and structure.

WORLD, Trelise Cooper, Starfish, Kathryn Wilson, My Boyfriends Back, Two WORLDS, Sabatini and Goodness have all been hasty to sign on, with 32 designer spots available across the week.

This year the event will be structured into three group shows; Spring-Summer 2013-14, Autumn- Winter 2013, and the beautiful Bride and Groom Couture Bridal show.

Managing Director Cameron Sneddon outlines that seasonal differentiation on the catwalk was an important aspect to perfect this year.

“We want to be able to showcase seasonal collections separately in order to allow for the right trade and consumer balance. We want to have something for everyone and make it really easy for our guests to choose which show suits their taste and preferences”.

Alongside the seasonal group shows, the week will see seven glitzy individual shows, and a further six unique off-site shows around the capital.

The event taking place from the 3rd- 7th April will be held in a beautiful 21m by 40m marquee at Odlins Plaza on the water front, overlooking the stunning view of the Wellington harbour.

The venue will seat 376 guests, and will be equipped with a VIP bar, media suite and bloggers corner.

Tickets go on sale on February 4th and are available from $29.00 exclusively at www.wfweek.co.nz and through Dash tickets.
