Upper Hutt Jousting Makes World List 2013
CNN Travel has just focused on jousting as a serious sport with increasing interest and has highlighted the Harcourt Park Medieval Tournament in Upper Hutt in the top 6 locations world-wide for 2013.
Callum Forbes, a jouster himself and the event organiser, says this recognition is great for this year's event on Saturday/Sunday 16 and 17 February. He adds that being able to attract jousters this year from Sweden, Belgium, USA, Canada, and Australia can only be done by reaching high standards and having great supporters like the Rimutaka Trust.
