Pacific women on wheels
Fifteen Pacific women will
take part in a cycle ride tomorrow aimed at promoting
cycling amongst Pacific women.
One of the ride’s
organisers, CDHB Pacific Health Promoter Terisa Tagicakibau,
says that in the Islands Pacific women don’t do a lot of
cycling so getting on a bike can be a big deal.
“The
ride is all about encouraging Pacific women to get on their
bikes and experience the joys of cycling,” says
Terisa.
