Irishman Tom Crean was one of the few men to serve with both Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton and survive three famous expeditions to the Antarctic.
Ireland’s Aidan Dooley brings to life Tom Crean, the intrepid Antarctic explorer, with his dramatic and humorous solo performance. Hear the riveting true stories of Crean’s adventures and courage in the face of impossible odds in this award-winning show.
The Antarctic Heritage Trust is staging the only South Island performance in Christchurch, the stepping-off point for so many ‘heroic-era’ Antarctic expeditions.
