Call Out for Marae teams for Series 2!

“Marae Kai Masters”

Māori Television flag ship programme Marae Kai Masters is back! After a fabulously successful first series, Tūmanako Productions is calling for teams to apply for Marae Kai Masters – Series Two

Marae Kai Masters has it all! Highly entertaining, dripping with drama, culinary cleverness, flavorsome food and larger than life local personalities who light up the screens not only with their skills in the kitchen but also with their unique brand of humor and community cohesion.

“If your marae is worldfamous for serving up great kai, we want to hear from you,” says Presenter, Nevak Rogers.

“We’re looking for ringawera guns from across the motu to go headtohead in a series of challenges that will test a range of skills from kai prep and fundraising to cooking budget meals and creating signature dishes,” she says.

Eight teams will be selected to battle it out in the kitchen, to showcase local delicacies alongside their cooking skills. The prize package up for grabs is worth tens of thousands of dollars for your marae.

APPLY NOW! For an application pack, email maraekaimasters@tumanako.co.nz.

Please allow plenty of time to get your team together and complete your application.

The more information you submit, the better your chances are of selection, so do not leave it to the last minute.

All fully completed applications have to be RECEIVED by FRIDAY 8 AUGUST.
