ESTERE RELEASES 'I SPY' REMIX AND APRIL TOUR DATES

Estère releases a remix of ‘I Spy’.

One year ago, out of her bedroom in Wellington, Estère released her self-produced/self-titled album as a free download featuring the lead single ‘I Spy’.

Having recently released the album in Europe to positive accolades from media outlets including Elle Magazine (France) who described it as 'inventive and brilliant' she has also re-released the album digitally in New Zealand with two exclusive remixes - Grayson Gilmours re-invention of ‘Patchwork Solider’ and Wellington producer Paddy Fred’s remix of ‘I Spy’ a maximisation of minimalism through infectious percussive layers and rich electronic textures.

Paddy Fred explains; "When remixing this particular track I recorded 10 layers of synthesiser and 3 layers of guitar. When I finished the remix there was only one layer of synthesiser and no guitar. That’s because the vocal is dope and I just wanted to give it space to breath."

You can catch Estère live on her album tour this April.
