The End of the Laughs

The End of the Laughs

NEW ZEALAND COMEDY TRUST PRESENTS
LAST LAUGHS
HOSTED BY JESSE GRIFFIN

Like all good things, the 2017 NZ International Comedy Festival powered by Flick Electric Co. comes to an end this Sunday. Yes sad, but let’s be honest we need some sleep. However before we tuck ourselves up on the couch, we are going to go out with a bang at Last Laughs. Proven year on year to be a dynamite celebration of comedy, this year is sure to be show-stopper with host Jesse Griffin on Sunday 21 May.

Watch the Billy T nominees perform for one last time before the award is given out on the night.

Be there to see who will win the award for New Zealand’s Best Show in the Festival, The Fred, named in honour of the late John Clarke’s much beloved character Fred Dagg. The Fred Award finalists will be announced on Saturday 20 May, and they will all perform on the night.

International guest Adam Hess (UK) and the winner of the national RAW Comedy Quest, at 18 years old, Ruby Esther will entertain the crowd whilst the judges are in deliberations.

Get people you like to spend time with together and make a night of it, for one last hoorah at the Comedy Fest.

Proceeds from Last Laughs will be invested by the NZ Comedy Trust into the future development of the comedy industry.
