Former Prime Ministers to attend Te Papa event marking the publication of The 9th Floor

On Friday 8 September a major public event will be held to mark the publication of The 9th Floor: Conversations with five New Zealand Prime Ministers.

The event will be attended by three former Prime Ministers, Jim Bolger, Helen Clark and Geoffrey Palmer. They will speak in conversation with authors Guyon Espiner and Tim Watkin about the 9th Floor project and the experience of reflecting upon their time as Prime Minister.

The book will be launched at Te Marae on Level 4 of Te Papa, Wellington, on Friday 8 September, 6.00 for a 6.30pm start.

About the Book

Geoffrey Palmer, Mike Moore, Jim Bolger, Jenny Shipley and Helen Clark were in power during one of the most tumultuous periods in New Zealand's political history. The 9th Floor: Conversations with five New Zealand Prime Ministers captures the key moments of their time in power. These leaders share a rare view of the country and, with the benefit of hindsight, we get their personal reflections on what happened and why, and how they made decisions that still influence our lives today.
