Rd 2 Crown Lift Trucks Fox Championship Qualifiers

Former New Zealand Kiwis head coach Brian McClennan makes his return to the Auckland coaching scene this Saturday, with his Hibiscus Coast Raiders playing host to the Te Atatu Roosters.

The Raiders had the bye in round one and take on a Te Atatu side who were convincing opening-weekend winners over Manukau.

McLennan, who coached both the Vodafone Warriors and Leeds Rhinos in addition to his time on the international scene, is back as the head coach of his hometown club after serving as an advisor for the Mt Albert Lions in recent years.

Elsewhere, Pukekohe will look to make it two from two when they travel across to the Northern Brothers, Manukau and Ellerslie face off at Moyle Park and New Lynn host Ponsonby, who will be licking their wounds following a heavy defeat in round one.

Otara and Papatoetoe do battle in a south Auckland derby, while Waitemata are home to Mt Wellington.
