LOCAL FILM CAMINO SKIES RELEASES OFFICIAL TRAILER
Limelight Distribution has today released the official theatrical trailer and poster for the upcoming film CAMINO SKIES, an inspirational documentary feature following six New Zealand and Australian strangers as they set out to conquer the almighty 800km Camino de Santiago.
CAMINO SKIES is a walking meditation on life, love and loss. While the six featured pilgrims have different motivations and experiences bringing them to the trail, they all seek answers to overcome what life has dealt them. For some, it’s a first-time trek, but for others, it’s a return trip. In the face of overwhelming odds, all will walk as one to defy their age and find acceptance and change.
An uplifting and often heartbreaking story about everyday people doing the extraordinary,CAMINO SKIES is a fly-on-the-wall insight into human nature and why hundreds of thousands of people choose to return time and time again to walk this spiritual pilgrimage.

CAMINO SKIES is directed and produced by Limelight Distribution’s Fergus Grady (Cargo, West of Sunshine) and Noel Smyth, who also served as cinematographer - CAMINO SKIES marking his feature film debut.
Following its World Premiere at the recent Newport Beach Film Festival, CAMINO SKIES will have its New Zealand premiere at the Doc Edge Festival in Auckland on 6 & 7 June followed by Doc Edge screenings in Wellington on June 17, 18 & 21. The film’s South Island premiere will take place on Friday July 5 at the Isaac Royal Theatre at a special screening with 10 per cent of ticket sales donated to the families of the Christchurch mosque attacks.
From Thursday July 11, CAMINO SKIES will be in New Zealand cinemas nationwide. The film is set to release in Australian cinemas from August 1.
