2008 Presidents Announced

Ryan Ward and Meegan Cloughley were today elected Co-Presidents of OPSA for 2008. John Cannan was elected as Vice-President.

Ryan is a Hospitality Management student, who has been involved with the OPSA executive as Vice-President this year, and as a member of the executive last year. Ryan is the first co-president to come from the Hospitality department. Ryan plans to focus on fighting for free education, student welfare and support, and social events.

Meegan is a certificate in social services student, who has been involved with OPSA as the Queer Support Co-ordinator and as a member of the OPSA executive this year. Meegan is the first openly gay OPSA president. Meegan is looking forward to the challenge of using her administration and advocacy skills to benefit students.

John is also a certificate in social service student. He is a member of the current OPSA executive.
