Gifted Kids ‘Challenge Vertigo’ Launches Today

Gifted Kids ‘Challenge Vertigo: Launch Len for Extraordinary Minds’ launches today, Monday 11 February. Gifted Kids Board member Len Ward will complete four challenges in order to help fundraise for Gifted Kids. When the fundraising target of $10,000 is met, Len will SkyJump off the Sky Tower in Auckland.

The four challenges will coincide with four fundraising targets. At $2,500 Len will take a group of students and kayak from down the Puhoi River. At $5,000 Len and students will ride the Corckscrew at Rainbow’s End. At $7,500 Len and selected students will complete the Auckland Harbour Bridge Walk. At the final fundraising target $10,000 Len will SkyJump off the Sky Tower.

A fundraising page has been set up at www.givealittle.co.nz/cause/LensLaunch where people can donate to Gifted Kids and help Len get closer to his target and closer to the SkyJump.

As Len faces these challenges, gifted children throughout New Zealand, face their own challenges, this fundraising event is one way that he is showing solidarity. Gifted Kids is a community based not-for-profit organisation that develops and delivers gifted education services for children, predominately in low socio-economic areas.
