OUSA Appoints 2014 Critic Editor

Today the OUSA have announced the appointment of Zane Pocock as Critic Editor for 2014. Critic is the award winning student magazine that puts out weekly editions for Otago University students and has been in production since 1925.

“Zane has been a member of the Critic team for three years after starting out as a film reviewer and campus style photographer, and more recently he’s worked diligently as the Chief News Reporter in 2012 and Deputy Editor in 2013.” Said Francisco Hernandez, OUSA President, “Along with his Critic work Zane has a working knowledge of OUSA and has been involved with OUSA Art Week projects.”

“Critic is the leading force when it comes to keeping both OUSA and the University in check, and with Zane’s appointment OUSA wishes to continue their strong commitment to editorial freedom for the student publication.” Said Hernandez.

Zane, 21, is currently studying Biochemistry and Communications at the University of Otago.
